Pellet Mill

Need High Density, Durable Pellets for Animal Feed or Biomass Processing?

In feed manufacturing and biomass processing, weak pellets that crumble into dust during transport lead to high product losses and customer complaints.

Premium Pulman's Ring Die Pellet Mill is built to deliver dense, highly durable pellets with minimal fines, engineered drawing on over 20 years of machinery manufacturing in Vatva, Ahmedabad.

Our ring die pellet mills feature heavy-duty alloy steel die rings and dual press rollers that force steam-conditioned mash meal through precision die holes. The mechanical shear and thermal gelatinization bond starch natural binders for rock-hard pellets.

Alloy Steel Ring Die

Vacuum heat-treated alloy steel ring die resists extreme friction and wear.

Steam Conditioner Vessel

SS 304 conditioner cooks mash with steam to optimize starch gelatinization.

Adjustable Pellet Cutter

External cut-off knife assembly sets exact pellet length during operation.

Widely used in cattle feed, poultry pellets, aqua feed, wood biomass pellets, and organic fertilizers.

Working Principle

Ground mash meal enters the steam conditioner where live steam raises temperature and moisture. The conditioned meal drops into the pelleting chamber. Heavy press rollers force the softened mash through the perforations of the rotating ring die. External knives slice extruding cylindrical rods into uniform pellets before falling to the cooler below.

FAQs

By changing the ring die ring, you can produce pellets ranging from 2.0 mm (poultry/aqua feed) up to 10.0 mm or 12.0 mm (cattle feed and biomass pellets).

Steam heats and moistens the raw mash, gelatinizing natural starches which act as a binder, increasing pellet durability and reducing power consumption.

Our vacuum heat-treated alloy steel ring dies typically yield 800 to 1,500 hours of continuous operation depending on raw material abrasiveness.
